It only took President Trump 76 Days to Change
I just passed the first anniversary of my becoming American. The day was a bitter-sweet as, while I was turning into a one-year old American, as it were, Trump launched a strike on Syria, and in so doing, did something that Presidents always seem to do at some point. It only took him 76 days to change, apparently, his preference for non-intervention. I discuss at length the standards by which we should judge such decisions.
On a happier note, I celebrate Britain’s delivery of the official letter that initiates that country’s withdrawal from the European Union and notes how the reaction from the Donald Tusk, the EU President, nicely exemplified exactly why we voted to leave in the first place.
